The Rookwood | Hyde Park

The unit was in excellent condition in terms of cleanliness. The managers were very fast in getting back to us with any comments or requests. The property is in an excellent area and we could walk to where our family lived as well as their church and schools. We always felt safe. I would highly recommend this property!

Pros: The description and pictures of this property is very accurate. The property is well decorated and clean. The location of the property is perfect, close to downtown, close to grocery stores, there's also some restaurants, a donut shop, a coffee shop, ice cream store and clothing boutique right below and across the street from the building which were wonderful. CONS for my stay: The parking was across the street with a short walk and checking in getting the key from the key box and going through the doors was a little bit of an hassle. This is an old building therefore the elevator is very old, very small like a box and it felt creepy, often times we were nervous about the elevator stopping on us and we ended up taking the stairs. Overall this is a great apartment and I think this apartment would be better suited for younger guests vs an older one.

The Rookwood was the perfect location for us in Hyde Park Square. It was away from downtown, but close enough to easily get to the aquarium and other museums with our kids. We enjoyed walking to Awakenings (the coffee shop) each morning. We loved it :)

We were very pleased with our stay. The property is beautiful and the location is great. Drew & Ingrid were very responsive to any questions we had.
