Mt Adams Hideaway

This home was very nice, clean and spacious. The neighborhood was excellent with a park right across the street, awesome restaurants within a short walk and very easy access to downtown. One issue with the house was that the garage was unusable with our van. The slope of the short driveway made pulling into and out of the garage nearly impossible. We never had issues finding street parking nearby however. Overall, would absolutely recommend this location for anyone with a family.

The pictures don’t do this property full justice, it is incredible!! So spacious, 3 large bedrooms each with their own bath. Two separate living areas, a backyard and two decks! You can walk right into Mt Adam’s and the park is across the street. We were thrilled with it! Drew was also extremely responsive to any questions.

Beautiful house nestled in a great area. I would highly recommend this property as it was very clean and the host was great to deal with as they quickly responded to our needs.

Only reason giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is Drew was very responsive and attentive. But would not stay here again. And def not worth the $$. Immediately when arriving we noticed a sewage smell throughout the main floor. Also, floors were never cleaned before we arrived. Debris throughout. Kitchen was continuously swarmed by army of ants lined out from deck on both fridge side and trash can side, so whatever was spilled by previous tenants was never cleaned well. A simple mopping would've prob sufficed. Even after bringing this to Drew's attention and the property was "cleaned" the floors and rugs were still not. And the ants continued to come in the remainder of our stay. On top of all this, the smoke alarm in the master BR began chirping every 30secs at 2am. Not owners'/mgmt fault, but could not find stepladder or 9v batteries anywhere, so had to balance on back of chair to pull out battery, which didn't stop the chirping, and so we switched rooms to try to get back to sleep and had to turn on box fan to try to override the constant chirping. We ended up leaving a night early on our 2-night stay. Also just fyi, the garage is the steepest grade garage I've ever seen! If you're driving a car, good luck not scraping! We should've just got a hotel room...
